First off, let me say am EXTREMELY lucky. My 15 week old DS sleeps through the night...he usually gives us about 10-11 hours. The past few nights, although he's sleeping he has begun to coo like crazy (before he would just coo during the day). We have checked on him and his eyes are closed but the cooing can go on for 5 minutes or 45 minutes....very loudly! Is this normal? Is he still getting a decent sleep?

Re: Coo-Ing
DS is 16 months old and has been doing that for a long time. It's actually how he puts himself to sleep. He has slept through the night since about 3-4 weeks old and has always made those noises.

OMG
I'm sure even if he's doing it for 45 mins then sleeping for 10 hours it's more than fine! It sounds so cute!

DD was not one to coo but she used to kick her legs in her sleep and slam them down so loudly! We moved her to her own room around 7 weeks bc we couldn't get any sleep. We didn't even have the monitor set up at that point and just kept the doors open so I could hear her.

I talk in the my sleep and I always compared cooing to that. Between the intense thumb sucking and cooing I always had a very noisy baby. Whenever she would get silent I would worry and check on her.

Re: Coo-Ing
If he's sleeping 10-11 hours, I wouldn't try to change thing.
