When did your reflux baby stop medication
My ds is 6m and on prevacid 3x a day. It is mostly controlled but I still see him make faces when the acid comes up and he will sometimes still choke on it. Thought reflux was supposed to disappear by around 6 months

We took DS off Zantac around 8 months old. Tried earlier and he wasn't ready.
I never heard they grow out of it at 6 months. Every baby is different and their digestive tracts mature at different rates.

might haven been around 6 months don't remember exactly. my DH kept forgetting to give it to him so the dr told me if he is fine not on it just stop it and if down the line we think he needs it again to call him. we stopped and haven't had to go back.

We started weaning around 9 months, but did it slowly. By 10 months he was off completely.

When did your reflux baby stop medication
DS is 3 and still on Prevacid. If I try to stop it, it gets worse. DS also regurgitates his food and to try and prevent esophagus damage is one of the reasons he is on Prevacid, not just reflux.
