Styling ideas for boy's hair with cowlick
My 5 year old DS has a bad cowlick. All his hair goes forward. When I get his haircut I like to keep it short. Buzzed on the side and longer on the top then I get it to the side and spike up the front. Problem is either the gel isn't that great or the hair is fighting it bc no matter what I try it just goes strait to the front again.
Anyone else have a DS with this? How do you try and style his hair?
DS2 is 3 and has much different hair. No cowlick and it comes in much longer and thicker with a little waive so I don't need to do anything with it. Looks kinda like the Beatles or a 70's look and I love it. Just can't get my older DS's hair right. Not that it looks bad when I don't do anything. He also hates standing still too long to work on it.

Yup, that's pretty much me. Funny thing is most moms I know with two boys have one with a bad cowlick and one with much easier and more manageable hair. I try with older DS, but it's tough. I also keep it short.

My older son has thick wavy hair - he also has the cowlick but it's not noticable b/c his hair can be groomed other ways .....my little guy has a DOUBLE cowlick and pin straight harir - so it's a complete PITA

I always say we are very similar bc you described my two boys only reverse the ages.
