winter white post parties
My girl's birthday is in January & I'm considering having a white post party...
Can anyone comment who has had or been to a party there at this time of year how it went? I've only visited during the summer.
Where are the pony rides held? Do kids spend much time outdoors? Where are the animals?
TIA!

Pony rides are held indoors-there is a room past the pigs I remember pretty much having the party in the area by the pigs/goats. We didn't go out by the zebra/camel area but I think you could if you wanted to after the party.

I had my son's birthday party there in the winter and it was definitely worth it. They have the area with the goats and sheet enclosed and heated so you can be in that area. Then they have the ponys in the indoor room and they bring bunnies into the party also.

I don't mean to be debbie downer but I can't imagine it smells very pleasant. My DS is a winter baby and so far we have had puppet shows and entertainment at home, unless WP offers offseason pricing, I can't see paying the same rate as a summer birthday.

I had an outdoor party there and attended an indoor. Both were great. Parties are only two hours long which I love. It smells the same as it always smells. Like animals and hay! I think it's worth it.

I don't think it's worth it because the price is the same as it is in the Summer isn't it? I've been to White Post in the Winter, and wasn't thrilled.

Re: winter white post parties
I had DD's b-day there in Jan and thought it was totally worth it. They do everything the kids do at summer parties (unless you pay extra for additional stuff), just under the covered pavilion. All the kids had a great time. It's a pricey party, but they do take care of everything. I just showed up. I had a 3 week old NB at the time, so this was key for me.
