Co-op in Oakdale for sale
My friend is selling her co-op in Oakdale. It's in Birchwood on the Green on Oakdale-Bohemia Road. She is having an open house on Sunday from 12 -2 if anyone is interested.
It is really a beautiful apartment - her pictures don't do it justice at all. She has all hardwood floors that she redid when she moved in and since she lives alone they are pretty much perfect. The kitchen is all updated cabinets and floors with stainless steel appliances, that are like new. The bathroom is updated. There is also plenty of storage in either the giant linen closet off the bathroom or in the attic.

I can't believe how much they are selling for now! I bought the same one (upper 1BR, corner unit) in 1997 for 32,000.00 and sold it in 2001 for 78,000.00!

Actually she is at the same ratio...she paid $110K for it about 6/7 years ago and is selling for $220K...you actually almost tripled your money, she is hopefully going to double.
