NYC Hotel
Does anyone have a hotel in the city they recommend? We'd like to stay overnight in the city in December. Ideally, I'd like to stay around midtown or Times Square. We are meeting friends who are staying at a hotel in Times Square so I don't want to be too far uptown or downtown. I'd stay at the same hotel as them but there are a few roach pics on Trip Advisor and now I'm grossed out!!

NYC Hotel
We stayed at the Algonquinn last December and loved the decor, and the nostalgia of it. Breakfast was yummy. Our room was teeny tiny though (like most in NYC). I think it was just a few blocks from Times Square. There is a new Courtyard, I think it's called the Courtyard Central Park, but still in the Times Square vicinity. We were going to stay there over the Summer, but our plans changed. It had excellent reviews on Trip Advisor.

Hotel Mela was nice...a little small, but we didn't spend much time in the room.

InterContinental Times Square is amazing.
And only one stop from Penn.
Love it
New, clean, rooms are spacious and modern.
