# of feedings per day for a 4 month old
My Da is just over 4 months and he has 5 feedings per day (STTN). What is the normal amount for this age? He eats basically every 3 hours. I breast feeding and supplement.

I was about maybe 5 but she is a light eater and we were getting 20 ounces in her. I was told she should be having a bit more ounce wise. How many ounces do you think she is getting ?

ds is 3 months old and he eats 5 times a day. No idea exactly how much he gets bc i bf and bottle feed
here is his schedule:
6am - breast fed
10am - 6oz
2pm - 5oz
6pm - breast fed
8:30pm - breast fed

DS turned 4 months on Tuesday. He gets 4 oz bottles every time (with 2 tbsp. of oatmeal). He usually, but not always finishes them. 5x per day - every 3 hours and sleeps through the night. Just started spoon feeding today and will do that 2 x a day before morning and night bottle.

I'm jealous of all of you! DS nurses 7-8 times a day. I asked the daycare provider about bigger bottles and she said since he's a spitter she wouldn't want me to increase the bottles for him to just spit up the extra ounce. Now I provide a few 1 ounce bottles in case he's still hungry after 4 ounces.

It's been formula but now that I have a stash from pumping at work I may switch to breast for one of the two
