Reflux babies - rock and play sleeper?
DD is almost 12 weeks and has reflux and gas issues. For a while she was sleeping overnight in the rock and play which seemed to help a lot. I recently switched her back to her crib and she wakes around 4am pretty ncomfortable.
I switched to the bed because I didn't think it was good to have her sleeping in the RNP so much. I thought it would be bad for her to be so scrunched up (although I think it helped her reflux). Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Is it OK for them to be sleeping like this overnight??

I kept my dd in it until 6 months she was small for her age. She outgrew the reflux around 6 months so i then transferred her to crib.
If its helping her then leave her If youd like her in the crib they have the crib wedge or roll some towels and put them under the mattress.
Crib wedge didnt do much for us. I just put her in the crib. And she was fine.

I was worried too about her not being able to transition to a flat surface. I put her in the bassinet until her middle-of-the-night feeding, then in the rnp for the remainder. Or, sometimes if I did the rnp all night, I'd have her do some naps in the bassinet. Basically I tried to rotate in a few hours here and there in the bassinet.

Reflux babies - rock and play sleeper?
Can you try the wedge under the crib mattress to elevate her head/chest?

This. DS had reflux, but I rolled a few towels under the head of his crib and he slept like that until he outgrew the reflux.

Re: Reflux babies - rock and play sleeper?
My daughter had severe reflux and she could not be flat at all. The RNP was our only option plus with her choking in the middle of the night, it allowed her to be right next to my bed. She slept in it until she was starting to sit up and it became unsafe for her. She did develop a minor case of torticolis that was resolved with PT, we think it was from the RNP.

DS slept in it for several months, until he was strong enough to rock himself hard in it. He didn't have much trouble switching to a flat surface, even though I expected him to.
