Weight gain
DS gained 3.5 pounds from 12 to 15 months. Seems like a lot, is it? He's always been in the 90% for height/weight.

Is he still in 90th percentile? If so, I wouldn't be worried. Is Dr concerned? If not, I wouldn't be worried. As long as he's not gaining to where he is jumping off the charts, I feel it's fine. Also, if he started off the charts and is maintaining that pattern, I still wouldn't be worried (a friend of mine had a son who was off the charts until he was 2! - Just a very big boy, but never "overweight")! They don't like to see big jumps in percentiles.

Re: Weight gain
I think it will even out over time. DS gained almost 5 pounds in 3 months, but then over the following 3 months gained less than 1 pound.

I just checked and DS gained 2.5lbs between 12 and 15 months...so I that could be a normal time for a bit of growth spurt. At that age they are trying so many different new foods and eating more. I bet its normal!
