sending 2yo to dance?
If you sent your 2yo to dance class, how did they react at first? Did they listen and follow the teacher somewhat? I'm putting my 25 month old in for a trial class to see if its worth it to register or not. She is a very active 2yo who is usually all over the place so im worried she wont follow the teacher and will be running all over the studio I'm hoping it works out but I certainly understand that she is still really young. We do have plenty of time ahead of us. TIA!

sending 2yo to dance?
My DD did not enjoy it, yet thrived in her little daycare dance class. I think because she wasn't familiar with the others and the teacher, so it didn't go over too well. Thankfully we only went to 4 classes. I kept her in the daycare dance class though and it was good, she listened and followed well. This was last yr when she was 2 1/2.

sending 2yo to dance?
We just started my dd in a toddler dance class last month at 21 months old. She does better than I expected as far as following along with the teacher, and she absolutely love love loves the class. Now she asks to go all the time. "Dance class? dance class? Musics?"
She's been four times so far and each time I've noticed she learns a little more and follows along even better. Now she's been singing Head Shoulder Knees And Toes at home, and we didn't teach her that, so it must be from the class.
Definitely give the trial class a shot. As long as your dd is enjoying herself it should be worth it.

Re: sending 2yo to dance?
We started DD with dance at 28 months and she loved it. The teacher is exeent and I think that's important having the right teacher to keep the kids interested there were a few times she didn't want to participate but then would join back in when she felt like it. She went once a week all last year for 45 minutes and then this summer did a 2 hour once a week camp.

Re: sending 2yo to dance?
DD started around 27 months. The moms stayed in the class for the first few weeks and then eventually we sat outside. Most of them did great!

Re: sending 2yo to dance?
My dd is 26 months old will be starting dance school next week. We did "meet the teacher" and she she seemed to love it. She is really strong willed and independent so I'm hoping she will listen. I think the teacher is good, she is young and energetic which I think it great for 2 year olds!
