anyone else have this?
i went for my first prenatal appointment last week, she said she thinks i'm about 9 weeks. (duhhh I already knew that) so this week she's sending me for a dating sono to give me an exact due date?
i dont understand why she sending me for a dating sono? she couldnt figure it out by how big the baby was and when i ovulated?
a little confused!!

I have never heard of that. My doctor figured it out based on my LMP.

I had an internal sono at my 7 week appt - it gave my dr. an exact measurement. If your dr didn't do the sonogram then, maybe that's why?

Most doctors go by the first day of the last menstral cycle. That's how my doc firgured out my due date for Nate. This time I'm not sure when my last period was so she sent me for a sono... They gave me a date based on how the baby was measuring. Not sure how accurate it is.

i had a sono at my first appointment....
i guess it might be why becuase i missed my LMP in july before i got my BFP in august...
maybe thats why... but i yold her i ovulated on either 8/1, 8/2, or 8/3 according to my OPK, and got my BFP on 8/11

they gave me a growth sono last week only bc i am bigger then i should be at 9 weeks! Good luck!!
