I just had a student like this and this was only the tip of the iceberg with their issues that ended up coming out.

I don't think it's a Gen thing (have seen older employees behave this way) although I've heard that argument too.

There is definitely a learning curve IMO for some with limited experience, as well as in any new job, but honestly, I'd be on my guard with this one.

It's hard being a supervisor, but also, you can't feel bad about doing your job with them....and even letting them go if they aren't the right fit for your company after you try to work with them.

There are many people out there with issues who end up in our work force because no one else addressed them, unfortunately.

I also feel like as a supervisor you need to be able to trust your employees, and they should not be causing you more work.

One of the issues I also had with the person I just described was other employees and even students were a trigger for them.

They completely overestimated their abilities and whenever someone tried to step in and help, they perceived it as a threat.

Good luck! She sounds like a handful.
