Re: Disney ?-Top FP selections for Toddler Boy

we went in November with 3 almost 4 dd.

you should get the buzz light year ride in the magic kingdom and the toy story ride in hollywood studios.

She loved the tea cups, and the raceway.

one tip that happen to happen to us Chat Icon

we were in Epcot late at night on our last night. We hadn't been able to meet Mickey or Minnie b/c lines in the park were ridculous. Anyway, (another tip, we went in the Nemo ride really late with no wait), and As I was wlaking back to meet dh and dd2, I walked past a place and saw they were having a meet and greet. I walked past then turned around and asked. It was Minnie, Mickey and Goofy, now wait. I couldn't believe it. I called dh and said come meet me. They let him in and we all got the best pictures with them. DD2 was in her PJ's but she was 8 months old. So make sure you know where they do them and check them all out, at all hours. dd1 was super happy and hugged Minnie like they were BFF's. It made the trip!!!

How tall and what do they like? Wild rides? Calm? Does he get motion sickness? Adventurous?

He is about 39" (I think Chat Icon) & will just be turning 4, honestly all we gone to is Adventureland & fairs so as far as wild rides...he seems middle ground. I don't think he would be into Tower of Terror & the really wild rides, I can hardly make it through that ride - lol.

I think he would love all the Toy Story stuff, he loves cars so def Test Track if he is tall enough I hope.

We are hitting every park

Ok then...

I would go to easywdw.com for a really great cheet sheet but here is what I would FP for you.

MK
7 drawfs mine train ride (38 inches)
Tomorrowland speedway (slow loader so longer waits)
Peter Pan
(If your son is 40 inches you might want to show him youtube videos of splash mountain and big thunder and see if either interests him... Skip space if you are unsure. My adventurous one hated it as did all our friends).
I do recommend enchanted takes eith belle. It is belle telling the story of how she met the beast. The kids and adults get chosen to act it out. I know many boys who really like this attraction as it isn't "just a meet and greet". Make sure your child volunteers for a part. I would FP this as the lines are very long.

Peter Pan is a must unless you go first to it bc the lines are very long. If you have two days at the MK I would FP the three above and then..

And the next day ETWB, jungle cruise can get long lines as well. We FP'd the evening parade. For us it was well worth it. Great parade spot and we stayed right there for the fireworks. No staking out a spot an hour early or fighting crowds to get in for the fireworks. You won't be able to get a 4th FP but for us it was worth it.

You can always get buzz and most other non roller coasters as your 4th, 5th etc FP the day of. I had no problems adding those.

EPCOT.
EPCOT has tiering (as does HS so you can only FP one major ride)
If he is not 40 inches soarin and test track are out as mission space at 44 inches. If he is 40 you can only FP one of those two attractions.

If he is under 40...
Character spot
Then honestly you really don't need FPs for the rest of category b. I did turtle talk with crush and living with the land.
If he is 40 consider soarin or test track. Depending on his interest.

HS
FP toy story mania would be your tier one.
Then the others like star tours he would need to be 40 inches. I would not recommend tower of terror even if he is 40.
Not sure what tier two you would be interested in.

AK
You want to FP safari and kali river rapids (37 inches)
Dinosaur is 40 but if he scares easily skip it....or show him the video it can go either way. My DD loved it at 4 but her friends hated it despite the boys liking dinosaurs.
I would FP the lion king show.

DS was just turned 5 & his favorite ride ever was Big Thunder Mountain in MK- we rode 3x. He also loved splash mountain, buzz lightyear, peter pan, & the tea cups. In epcot he loved test track, soarin, & spaceship: earth.

We didnt go to HS or AK
