Newborn w eczema-help

My 9 week old has terrible eczema. I have been using a eucerin eczema cream for baby and it really helped her face, but her legs and arms are still covered and now her tummy has it too. Is there anything that I can use to help it go away.

Our pediatrician think she has a milk allergy so I am cutting dairy out (I am BF), but I imagine it will take a while to get out of both of our systems.

My pediatrician recommended aquaphor for baby exzema. But my DD doesn't have a milk allergy so not sure that will help. I have also used babo oatmeal lotion when she gets really itchy. I found it's worse when she is warm. I lowered the air in her room by a couple of degrees and it went away.

Go to a dermatologist. We go to dr kristal. If it's terrible, you will need steroids to clear it up. It's so itchy and uncomfortable. Make sure your using very gentle laundry detergent (no frangrance, dyes, parabens, etc...), very gentle bath soap (Unscented cetephil was recommend, but I use earth mamma angel baby non-scents head to toe wash), try vanicream to moisturize.

I would also see an allergist (we use dr streuss).

I have a milk allergy and as soon as I eat dairy I break out. Nothing helps other than cutting it out. Takes about two weeks. In the meantime I use the eucerine too and coconut oil and take vitamin e caps, break them open and use the oil on her skin. Good luck

Oh and don't use any soap other than her bum, and under her arms or where she is sweaty(neck). Just rinse and get her out if the water.
