Peanut allergy ?
My 2 year old was diagnosed with peanut /tree nut allergy( I did not know their was a difference because the dr checked off peanuts on the list ...then I called him and he said oh no all peanuts even tree nuts......anyway can you just give me idea of some foods they can have

Ok so if he checked off peanuts then its peanuts ....tree nuts are completely different and there's a wide variety of them so he would have had to test for each ....my dd is peanut allergic but I've been told by her allergist that she's not tree nut allergic according to blood test so I should introduce them so that's what I've been doing I've introduced hazelnuts almonds and pistachios without any problems so far ....so I would ask which tree nuts dc is allergic too specifically ....as for peanut allergic we just read labels and as long as it's not in the main ingredients and it's not in any warning labels such as "made in a facility that processes peanuts" or "May contain peanuts" then she's allowed to eat it ....good luck
