Celebrity Silhouette
Has anyone been on the Silhouette? If you have been both on RCCL and Silhouette, how would you compare them?

Re: Celebrity Silhouette
It was very pretty. The crowd was older than on Royal but I haven't been on the Allure or Oasis etc. Anything specific you're looking to compare?

Crowd is older on celebrity, but the food is even better and decor is nicer. I'm a 20+ cruiser (read- snob) and prefer rccl or celebrity hands down. If choosing between the two, I consider purpose of vaca. Rccl had more activities, night life. Celebrity is more relaxation.

Re: Celebrity Silhouette
I have been on the Silhouette in 2012, and just got off the summit yesterday.
Celebrity is a great line, but its more low key and relaxing it isn't a party ship and the food is excellent, there was the norwegian breakaway in port with us and I spoke to a bunch of cruisers on there and they had a ton of complaints from not being able to get any sleep from doors slamming all night to music blasting from cabins all night. and they also said the food was not good at all. And there was one pool for 4000 people and they waited on lines for everything and were nickel and dimed for everything.
Celebrity is not like this at all.

Have you eaten at any of the specialty restaurants? If yes, was it worth paying extra?
