great Neck district?
Any teachers familiar with the great neck schools? specifically with the high schools? Any info is appreciated!

Have an interview for a position next week and just wanted to know if anyone knew if it was a good place to work in and whatnot

great Neck district?
It's a great place to work from what I hear. I know one of the elem. school principals. You might get the type of question that asks how to deal with the overly-involved/demanding/controlling parent. Always answer with a "follow the chain of command" type answer with specifics. They also want to see that you understand the cultural relevancy of their student body and how it relates to behaviors (both academic and non). Good Luck!

I worked at one of the middle schools for a year and I loved it! The teachers and administration were AMAZING! Some of the kids and parents were great, some not so much.
Of course, this was all 11 years ago, so things may have changed.....but it was one of the higher paying districts on the island, which never hurts.
