I went in October 2011. Went for a few days with a few couples to celebrate DH and others turning 40. Unfortunately, it rained almost everyday and rained a lot so that dampered my trip. It was ok. The resort and rooms was nice. Food was average in comparison to other all inclusives I have been too. Great that it was adults only but I think I'd rather do the Iberostar if I went back and skip adults only. I have pics..if you are considering and want to see...pm me. I was told before we went, it was not very safe to leave the resort. We hadn't planned on it so that was fine for us.

Yes, I went to Jamaica for 12 days this past November. I went 6 days in Ocho Rios and MY GOD what a beautiful beach. Very rural. We stayed at the RUI, which I wouldn't recommend. The food wasn't good at all. The room we had to change twice. The first room the safe didn't lock, the second one wasn't cleaned. The people were very accommodating. You needed reservations at the restaurants and couldn't get one until we made a complaint. I would travel back to Ocho Rios, it was so beautiful and stay at an adults only there.

Then we spent 6 days at Secrets in Montego Bay, it's very Americanzed. You can leave the resort (with the hotel representatives). They arrange buses, and transportations to the restaurants like Margaritaville, nice seafood restaurants. The hotel has two parts. You can enjoy both. The beach is man made and isn't stretched like Ocho Rios. However, the resort is very beautiful, adults only (which is a plus to me). No reservations for dinner, 9 restaurants. We loved Jamaica, and we've been around. The people are so friendly and appreciate their lives and jobs. Everything was relaxed. We had a great time, the weather was great. Hot during the day and cool at night. Plenty of things to do at the hotels. FM me if you want to know anything else.

Sandals Whitehouse is great. I've been twice and would go back in a heartbeat. I actually cried a little when we had to leave last time!
