Introducing milk
Did you introduce whole milk in a bottle? Sippy? Cup with a straw? I gave DD some whole milk this morning for the first time. I put it in her sippy cup with a straw and she just spit it out everywhere! She usually drinks water out of that cup so I am thinking she just didn't expect the different taste maybe? DD spit the water out of her sippy pretty regularly until about a month ago.

Introducing milk
we are still transitioning but when we started introducing milk a week or so ago, DS was on 3 bottles a day. now we are down to 2 bottles a day (one in morning and one at night) and his mid day milk is given to him in a sippy.
he definitely doesn't sit and drink the sippy the way he does with a bottle so what i do is give it before his lunch and then whatever he doesn't finish i give to him with lunch. so far i've been able to get him to take about 4oz that way. he gets 6oz in his bottle in the morning and 6oz at night.

Re: Introducing milk
Ugh, dd never drank milk! We weaned her onto it, mixing more and more every day or two in with her formula in the bottle but by the time we got to all milk, she flat out refused. We have been bottle free since 13 months old. She gets dairy from cheese or yogurt instead.

Bottle but your dd doesn't take bottles. Dd won't yet take milk from her straw sippy cup...little does she know she eventually will.

Introducing milk
We transitioned using the bottles only. We did 2 ounces of milk and rest formula. Then 3 days later went 4 ounces milk, balance formula. Then 3 days later 6 ounces of milk, etc.....
Did a few weeks of that and then moved toward sippy cup. We replaced morning bottle first. Then it took a few more weeks to eliminate the night bottle (mostly bc of me....not bc of DS!)
It was very easy for us. I wish I could say the same about getting rid of paci!
