Dutch Wonderland-Weather
We're going this weekend and it's showing rain throughout our whole stay. What should we do? Cancel and rebook for a later date? Rates are also very expensive for August. Is it worth to go when it's raining?? I hate to spend $$$ to just stay inside a resort.

The weather is always wrong....was wrong yesterday and the day before...at least by me. I would go. They do offer a rain guarantee. You can go to Hands on House or the science museum

When we were there- 2 years in a row, the weather called for rain.
Both years, we went and it was great.
Cloudy, yes. But it barely rained.
If it did rain, it was a sprinkle then it stopped.
It actually worked out because the park was not as crowded and there were no lines.
I wouldn't cancel based on a weather report- ALWAYS wrong

Dutch Wonderland-Weather
Just a tip for DW - if it's raining for more then an hour straight that the rides are closed, go to the customer service desk (in the main store right before you exit again to get to the ticket lines)
You can get rain date tickets for a FREE day of admission! ! And they're good until the end of the year and include the DW halloween and holiday days!

Wish I would have known earlier. We went on Friday, and they closed the park around 2pm because of thunderstroms. They stamped our hand to return later on but we never did. Thankfully we did the 3 hour preview and spend the Friday morning so we pretty much did the whole park.
