Moms Who Live In Wantagh
What do you love about the area? What do you do with your little one? Classes, groups etc?.. What are things I should know about the area? Any sites you can recommend so I can hear about activities..
As you can see from my previous posts there is a good chance I am becoming a Wantagh mom and as a Queens girl i am clueless!!

Moms Who Live In Wantagh
Wantagh is awesome!!! It is a great area for kids to grow up. I work full time but there is a great class at the library during the week that my mom took dc too- play hooray.
There's also a lot of parks and Wantagh pool.
They are also Opening a kidville in sept but there is the little gym in Merrick and music together in Bellmore.

Michi, I'm in Bellmore, and DH grew up in Wantagh. It's a great area. The previous poster covered a lot, but I strongly recommend the Little Gym in Merrick. The new Kidville opening up looks really interesting too. There's a Friendly's that we take DD to every now and then. Feel free to PM me or message me on FB if you want.

We are in the process of buying in wantagh! I grew up there. Some other things: wantagh park (it's right on the water, perfect for a sunset stroll while kids wave to the boats), plus playgrounds, pools, etc.
There's forest city pool, the playgrounds at the elementary schools, the jones beach boardwalk. It's also close to cedar creek park.

Michi, I was in Forest Hills until 2008, then we moved out here.
So awesome! Nice to know others have made the Queens to LI move with success. I am so nervous about it! I def. think we need a get together! =)
