Please Touch Museum - how much time? and new question

We are bringing 2 5-year-olds to the please touch museum in Philadelphia, PA. If you've gone before, how much time do you expect we'd need there?

ETA: Okay, we were going to try to cram it in to a certain amount of time, but I'm convinced we shouldn't. But here's a new question:

Is there a way to get discounted tickets?

Thanks!

Re: Please Touch Museum - how much time?

Get there in the morning and stay until closing time! I guarantee you, they will not want to leave before then!

I took my then 7 and 5 year old and even though we got there at 10am I was not able to drag them out until the whole place closed down at 4pm! Chat Icon

It's a great museum and not cheap, so might as well get your money's worth! Chat Icon

We usually go at opening and leave at lunchtime. We never get to do everything. The cafeteria is really limited so we end up leaving and never go back.

I think you will need 4-5 hrs to do everything.

Chances are you don't have this, but...I think I would get 50% off with my LICM membership card (I forget which level membership I have, but it's one for a family of 4).

We were there for 3 hours, but that was also because my DS kept throwing tantrums when we tried to move him from one exhibit to the next.
