Inviting kids from school to a july bday party.

I don't think it really has anything to do with the fact that they are school friends, but more about summer activities. My DS is going to a school friend's party next week and the mom was just telling me that a lot of friends from his prior school can't come because they are at sleepaway camp. People are on vacation and have family obligations so I think in general many summer parties have fewer people who can attend.
