Foxwoods or Moheghan Sun
DH and I just want 1 or 2 nights away without DS this summer.
We have gone to AC twice for this purpose. We don't really gamble but its the closest place to go for 1 night.
Montauk is SO expensive!
We were thinking the resorts in the Poconos, or Foxwoods or Moheghan Sun?
Any reviews of these places or other really quick getaways?

I personally prefer Foxwoods. But Mohegan has a deal on travelzoo right now if you're able to go Sun-Thurs

Mohegan...
But if you aren't into Gambling, just about 45 min past Mohegan is New Port Rhode Island. So much fun and so much to do. My DH literally took a last min trip there. No money in our pocket, no ferry reservation and no place to stay. They have a visitor center, we went there and found a hotel that was within our budget and it all worked out great.

Agree. I like it better.
LOVE the hotel, great spa, great dining and bars etc, shopping. Just a relaxing place to go- and we are not really gamblers at all.

We were at Mohegan about two months ago and we had an awesome time. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated.........and huge!!! There were a ton of great places to eat and the gambling areas were great. We also saw a concert at the arena.
I loved it and highly recommend it!!
ETA - Check in/out was a breeze.

Go to Mohegan then relax in Newport or Mystic for a day! Best of both worlds, win-win.
