Hitting my second tri next week!
We are just flying to Florida and staying for 6 days.
Anything I should know or be concerned about while flying pregnant?
Can I go through the security scanners?

The regular metal detectors are fine to go through, but I would request a pat down instead of the scanner. Try to move your legs and feet during the flight, and stay hydrated. Other than that, have fun on your trip!

I opted out of scanners, asked for pat down. Walk around here and there - otherwise youre ok.

I'm panicking now, just had my BFP on Thursday and I went through the scanners on my weekend trip. It hadn't even crossed my mind

I flew to Florida at 19w. I made sure to get up once per hour to either use the bathroom or just walk up and down the aisle once or twice. I also opted for the pat down rather than the scanner but was told that they were fine.

I would not worry. I had gone through one while pg as well.

Don't panic! I was assured they were safe, I'm just a bit neurotic.

I agree they told me the scanner has the same power as a cell phone and not to worry
To the OP I fly at 22 weeks and swelled terribly, try to elevate your feet as much as possible and drink a lot of water
