Can we discuss sex during pregnancy???
With DS #1, I had a very normal sex life during the entire pregnancy. No issues and was never on pelvic rest.
Infertility, miscarriages, and 8 years later, I am terrified to DTD and I am almost 11weeks!!! We can't go on like this for the entire pregnancy !!
Any words of advice or girls who have normal sex lives during pregnancy? I am off pelvic rest at this point and I miss my husband

Can we discuss sex during pregnancy???
DH and I didn't DTD until earlier this week (16 weeks). Unfortunately, it was at 4 in the morning and I was NOT able to enjoy it properly, but I was just glad he wasn't nervous anymore! I had a BIG change in discharge for 2 days after (thick, globby, versus the usual discharge I get, but not uncommon for after sex w/ DH). I hope to have another go at it this weekend...
I'm not worried about me "enjoying it fully" because I know that's been happening in my sleep since the beginning.
Separately, I'd like to know if there are any recommended positions, because missionary just was NOT comfortable.

We both really want to just do it but I am so nervous with the previous spotting and then the spotting after the pap. I am so afraid to do anything with this pregnancy and it sucks. I want to feel free again!

you might spot, but as long as you remind yourself that it's just from the sex, you're good. I was expecting to spot since I had placenta previa at 11 weeks (which was part of why I spotted), but I didn't have any, I'm hoping that means it moved (?).

I am not allowed to have sex...only do other things- Dr's orders. I was banned after I started having mild contractions.
PS- the contractions were completely unrelated to sex. So I say do it now before things get too complicated!

I keep getting randy at the oddest moments - like driving to work, and I'm like, great this is a big help, why can't I feel like this on a saturday morning?

The second we got the ok from the RE, we had sex. We both couldn't wait.
Make sure you have it now because once the baby comes who knows the next time you will have it!

I was worried too. Due to the bleeding I wanted to wait. So we finally did it when I turned 12 weeks and then again when I turned 13 weeks. My OB at 10 weeks gave me the green light but I wanted to wait until 12 weeks. We took it slow and everything was fine. No spotting or anything! I thought I would be a nervous wreck but I was fine. Trust me I know how you feel.

I waited until I was in the 2nd trimester. Not for any reason except my own personal nervousness. Also the ms didn't help lol.

completely fine to have sex during your pregnancy. I have.
yes you might spot sometimes, but that's normal and has happened to me. Light pink is fine. Only if it's dark red is that a problem.
Totally safe to have sex. At 11 weeks, go for it!

I also have been having sex and I am 10 weeks. The first time I did it, I spotted and freaked out. The DR told me to stay away from sex for a few weeks. So far it's been three weeks since the second time I spotted and me and DH have been having sex just about every day. Even though I'm bloated and not feeling my greatest, I always love doing that with him!!!!!

 no spotting, but with this pregnancy we did it way early IMO. And a lot more often than with the twins, because I was so afraid. With this pregnancy, we are so whatever....

With my first pregnancy, I had the most horrible cramps every time I had an orgasm, so sex went out the window pretty quickly. It was happening in my sleep too. I would be having a sex dream and wake up in crazy pain! Once my sleep sex dreams didn't hurt anymore, I gave it another go. We probably DTD about 6 times during my whole first pregnancy up until the last 2 weeks when I was trying to get him out! Then we did it every day. We had to do doggy only at the end because it was the only thing that was comfortable.
This pregnancy - I'm not feeling very great, but I try to have sex at least once a week! I think once I start feeling better, I will do it more.
As far as positions - doggy, or girl on top I think are the best for pregnancy. Missionary is just too much pressure!

With my DS we did it more infrequently bc we were nervous lol but this time we have been more active, it cannot hurt the baby unless your doctor says not to go for it!

To be honest, I had a rough pregnancy the second time around, and when we DTD, I bled a little. After four miscarriages, we got a little freaked out. So, sex really didn't happen much :( We were both so nervous!
