Preggo Pillow
Did anyone get one of those curved pregnancy pillows or did you just use a body pillow? I was originally just going to get a body pillow, but I feel like the curve of the pregnancy pillow would help better. If you did buy a pregnancy pillow, which one did you get?
Thanks!

Re: Preggo Pillow
That's what I was afraid of, but if it will help me sleep better at night, I'll take it! Maybe it'll be the impetus to convince DH that we need to buy the king bed now

Re: Preggo Pillow
I bought the boppy curved pillow:
http://www.amazon.com/Boppy-Prenatal-Cuddle-Pillow-Neutral/dp/B00474AT6K/ref=sr_1_89?ie=UTF8&qid=1403641680&sr=8-89&keywords=pregnancy+pillow
It made me more uncomfortable in the beginning so I took out my college body pillow and that helped for a while. Once I hit 20 weeks, the body pillow became uncomfortable and I switched back to the boppy and that supports my belly a lot more now.

Re: Preggo Pillow
I bought this one around 14-16 weeks, and loved it until maybe the past 3-4 weeks: http://www.amazon.com/Boppy-5200100K-6PK-Prenatal-Sleep/dp/B00474CUTO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403641959&sr=8-1&keywords=pregnancy+wedge+pillow
Now, I don't use any special pillow and just adjust myself. It's the most comfortable. I also bought a pillow similar to the one that Kristen posted and have barely used it because it's uncomfortable.

Thanks all! I just didn't want to buy one and have it be the worst one, or if a body pillow would work. I've been sleeping with a regular pillow between my legs, but it's not cutting it now.

Re: Preggo Pillow
Early on with DS, I used this preg pillow that looked like a wedge triangle that tucked under the belly and supported it. It was small and helped with the weight of my stomach on my hips and back. I'm hoping to find one similar to it today bc I need the support and my regular pillows are not cutting it. Some pillows out there are gigantic and end up falling off the bed in the middle of the night lol

I tried. It was more annoying than helpful. I just used a blanket between my legs.

I bought the "snoogle" and hated it! Was so uncomfortable and hurt my neck, not to mention how much space it took up. I get up to use the bathroom like 3-4 times a night and it was such a procedure to "unwrap" the snoogle from my body and then position it back in haha. I returned it and got the regular body pillow - so much better!!!

Snoogle! I am obsessed with it. I am keeping it even after the baby is here.

Preggo Pillow
I just used an assortment of pillows I already had for different purposes. I usually put the body pillow behind me to keep me from rolling onto my back, a small throw pillow under my belly, a flat pillow sometimes between my knees, and several by my head to keep the heartburn at bay. I don't know where DH slept and it was quite the ordeal just to switch sides but it was what worked!

Same here, DH claims he hates it but as soon as I go into the shower he snuggles with it!

Re: Preggo Pillow
I used the Snoogle & now that I've had the baby, DH somehow took it over & sleeps with it every night lol. Nothing like a grown man cuddling a huge, pink preggo pillow.

That's not a bad idea, I could use a small comforter and roll it up to act like the preggo pillow. Thanks for the idea! I'm trying it tonight.

Exactly this. I just bought the snoogle over the weekend. It's very uncomfortable in the neck area. DH loves it! He can keep it for himself. I get numb from laying on my sides at night so I have to constantly switch and get up and pee. I plan to use a pillow under my sides tonight.

I actually put one regular pillow between my legs (with a little cushion under belly) and one behind my back last night and I slept INCREDIBLY. That's my plan for the time being.

Re: Preggo Pillow
I have the boppy pregnancy pillow. It helps me sleep better but it doesn't always guarantee me a good night's sleep. Overall I would recommend it but just don't have high hopes from it. It just makes things slightly better! lol
