3 Boy Names- Which is MORE Popular?

We are trying to choose a name for our baby boy. I do not want something popular. I know that Logan was somewhat common 5 years ago and Gavin may have been as well but do you hear those names often? I think Landon may be somewhat new but don't want my son to be Landon G. due to 3 other Landon's in his class! Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I think Logan is most popular based on babies I know with the name. None of three seem "common" to me though. I like Landon best.

eta: unfortunately it is hard to predict if you will know other kids with a name. To me if it isn't high up on the SS list (say within the first 30 names) then it isn't a common name and I will use it.

Use the name you love...I grew up with a Danica (not al all popular) and then another Danica moved to town. So you never know.

I would just pick what you like. I never worried about if there will be others. There will unless you pick a true one of a kind name.

My ds is Gavin. There has only been one other in his daycare.

And just for reference my son is Thomas, Tommy, you would think there would be tons, right? I have yet to meet one his age lol

To me, Logan is the more popular name by far. Or maybe it's just because two close friends and a cousin of mine chose this name, all within 3 months of each other!

I really like Landon and don't know anyone personally with this name.

If I had to rate it by popularity I would say:

1) Logan
2) Gavin
3) Landon

That being said, I don't think any of them are SO popular that it would deter me from naming my kid whatever my top choice was. I actually love all three names and Logan is a definite contender if we have another DS.

My middle son is Gavin. I hear his name but not a ton. He is not in school yet but my older son in preschool and he has one Gavin in his class of 25 kids. His class last year had no Gavin's.

He has had no Landon's in any classes he has been in. I don't hear the name often. Logan is probably the most popular of all three but I still don't hear it often. None in my sons class.

Thanks so much for your feedback girls! I am having such a hard time choosing a name and I guess the best thing to do is wait until I meet him to choose! Logan and Gavin are two of my favorites for sure but Landon seems a bit more different which is the route I normally take! My husband likes Gavin the best....I guess I'll keep my eyes and ears open until our little guy arrives!
