Label EVERYTHING!!!! My stuff was labeled and still never made it to my classroom. One of my missing boxes was found in April.

So...any moving classroom tips?

Label and use those Rubbermaid bins and get the kids to help if you can try and get things sorted before the end of June and just don't throw it into the room lol

Oh yes...I'm trying. But supposedly, it's a temporary move so I still have to hold onto my current grade stuff. Chat Icon

I agree with labeling and throwing out anything you can! I know it's tough if you're not set in your current grade level.

If you're not organized now, organize your stuff while you pack. I have all of my papers in labeled hanging folders in those plastic file boxes by subject - they're light and easy to move. I also have a rolling cart from Michaels that has most of my books in it so I can just wheel it from room to room.
