Infant Day Care Costs?
Hi All,
So I am trying to get some information on day care for infants on Long Island. I am partincuary interested in Tutor Time...
Can anyone from experience tell me what the cost is on average per week or however it is calculated for an infant?
I have absolutely no clue what to expect. I've contacted a few places and I'm waiting for call backs to go through some info.....

Infant Day Care Costs?
I've seen it range from $280-$350/week for full time.

Tutor Time is going to be on the high end about $350/week from what they informed me.

Infant Day Care Costs?
Based on my research most facilities bill monthly. The rates I have been quoted are all $2000+ per month for an infant. I am in lower Westchester but my sister paid comparable rates on LI.
ETA: This is for 8-10 hours.

1000 on the low end, average I've seen is 1300-1400 a month FT

I would say $1200-1400/mo is probably the average for a FT an infant in a center.

Infant Day Care Costs?
We pay $70 a day for DS, and going to pay $100 a day for both kids. Its a private home with a separate day care area and outdoor area. We wanted small, and she only has like 5-8 kids. NYS certified and checks regularly,

I was quoted $240 per child for an early dropoff, but it's only 3x week. Not 5 days...

Update: I have visited three different day care centers this week - Rainbow Chimes, Tutor Time and CAlling All Kids Too.....They were all about the same per week or month....roughly $320 a week..........
I am seeing two more next week - Kindercare and Oyster Babies.....

Infant Day Care Costs?
Someone was mentioning to check with the state for any issues against the center, what is the website for that? I know the website for the office of professionals against licensed individuals, but even in the business entity section it doesn't have an option for child care (or anything that looks like it).

Our daycare is definitely on the lower end of the spectrum and we paid $1150 when DD was an infant for FT, 9 hrs a day, 5 days a week. Or $1050? I should know this, but it comes directly out of DH's paycheck so since I don't pay the bill directly, I forget....
