Getting the 1k bonus in our last June check
From Mulgrew in an email:
a one-time ratification bonus of $1,000 (pro-rated for part-time employees) to be issued to any member who was on payroll as of the date of ratification, June 3, 2014. We are pleased to inform you that pending the ratification by the Panel for Educational Policy on June 24, for most school-based UFT staff this payment is going to appear in either your direct deposit account on June 25, or in a check delivery scheduled for June 26. Other UFT staff such as nurses and therapists should receive this payment on July 3, and part-time F status staff should be receiving their pro-rated portion on July 10.

Actually if you live outside of the city, like myself it is $750
freaking city taxes

Totally depends on your deductions mine is only $700 they took out taxes, tda, and i pay extra for the 55/25 retirement

Same as you, taxes...tda...25/55.
Yes, taxes, tda, 25/55. I lowered my TDA contribution when my DH was out of work b/c we needed the $$ to live on. The amount will be different for everyone

So, those of us who have been DOE employees for years but are currently on child care leave aren't entitled to this? That's BS! I went off payroll in January.

I know it is BS, a friend is currently on FMLA, not even a full year Child Care and she is not getting it! I would call the union !
