Commute to flushing
Does anyone commute to flushing from farmingdale area ? How bad/long is the commute?

I am in deer park and teach in Flushing. We carpool and it can take about 50 min to an hour in the morning

P.S. 21 is in a great area ! :) It's in a predominantly residential section of Queens. It's very close to Whitestone and you do not have the overly congested, hustle/bustle feel like downtown Flushing.

This and I know someone who works there..want me to ask their thoughts ? The timing mentioned before seems accurate

I've been to meetings in Flushing and live near Fdale. Probably about about 45 minutes driving, depending on traffic. What is the parking situation at the school? If there's no lot, factor in time to find a space.

Parking is not a problem...very residential neighborhood and a park across the street with street parking.

Parking is not a problem...very residential neighborhood and a park across the street with street parking.
Do you work there? I applied for a position on open market and would welocme any info about the school. You can pm if you like.

PS 21 is "Flushing" but it is really border Whitestone, great area, easy parking. I don't have specifics about the school though.

If you leave earl, no traffic, 30 minutes. It would never take more than an hour.
I lived in F'dale and DH lived in Flushing when we were dating :) so we did that drive a lot.
