Is anyone familiar with the area? We are getting a dog from there and according to maoquest it's 3.5 hours from my house. I am able to go see the puppies when they're 6 weeks and then we would have to go again to pick up the puppy at 8-9 weeks. I'm thinking about staying overnight each time to break up the driving. What is there to do? Is it close enough to Boston?

If I'm not mistaken Duxbury is by Plymouth, MA... So maybe 40 mins to Boston... Not too far from the Cape also.

Re: Duxbury, MA
I'm wondering if I should take the kids for a few days to the beach and to visit with the puppies. I don't mind driving, but driving 7-8 hours round trip in one day is a lot. It seems to be near beaches and I found a cute pirate cruise that I'm sure they would enjoy. My sister and I usually rent a noise in CT for a few days, but maybe I'll see if she would be ok with doing the cape instead.
