Having tonsils out?
Can anybody give me info about having tonsils and adenoids out? DS will be having that done and his nose cauterized.. Was it that bad for your DC? I'm just worried about recovery. Right now I have to hide his meds in drinks, he barely eats, etc.. I already he know he will not be a good patient, but I'm hoping he can manage... He has anxiety issues also - any tips on helping before/after surgery?? Thanks!

Stay on top of the pain meds, the first day will be cake, but the pain sets in by day 2. Have it ready for when he wakes up in the morning, that will be the worst! Good luck!
