Lets talk GD
So I took the three hour today, or attempted to take the three hour. I made it to the 1 hr blood draw (260 bg level) then 15 minutes later started to feel lightheaded and clammy. I was taken back to a room to lay down and the MD came in and good news is you don't have to continue the test bad news you have gestational diabetes.
He gave me the info there and I have to meet with a dietician on Monday.
Soooo, what were some of your favorite snacks and meals that kept you blood sugar levels down.
TIA!

Oh no, T ! That sucks. Were you at a doctor's office or blood draw place?
Since Monday I've been eating every three hours, and pairing any fruit with protein. Greek yogurt with berries, string cheese, apple with peanut butter, etc. but I'm totally new to this and haven't met with a counselor yet.
Good luck!
