I change DS before every feed, so about every 2.5-3 hours unless I see the blue stripe appear on the diaper sooner or know he went poop. I would rather go though diapers than deal with a diaper rash.
Same here!!!

After every feeding unless she poops or is very wet.
Same here. So every 2-3 hours.
Same here. My DS peed CONSTANTLY as a newborn/infant. I remember one day he peed like 4 times in a 30 minute span. If I changed him after every pee I would have pretty much spent my whole day at the changing table.
Also just wanted to say he is over 2 now and even with his super sensitive skin he has never once had a diaper rash. If he did I obviously would have changed him more frequently though.

How often do you change your kids diaper?
Any and every time she was wet.. End of story. Its just how I felt it should be. Who wants to sit in cold piss or hard poop or mushy poop. Just plain no.
To each their own.
I knew diapers were expensive, but it was part of the deal. *shrug* I don't regret it one bit.

I change him every 3 hours unless i notice he is very wet or has poop. We did it like this when I was working in a daycare.
This is what I do at home. My daycare does every two hours.

Re: How often do you change your kids diaper?
I use about 7 diapers a day... so every 2-3 hours during the day, generally not during the night unless he wakes up crying, then I may check to see if he needs a new one but normally he doesn't.

Dd is older now (almost 2) but I've always followed the same policy. I change is as soon as there is a poop, but change pee diapers when they are very full. She's never been the type to care about wet diapers and never complains. It is a combination of pure laziness and the fact that she doesn't even want me to change her diaper most of the time. I'll ask and she says no, so I wait until absolutely necessary. We're lucky though - she doesn't tend to get diaper rashes. I know some people whose dc get diaper rashes very easily.
DD is almost 16 months and she HATES it when I change her diaper. So i change her about every 3 hours. Obviously, if she poops, I'll change her right away. But she also isn't one to care if her diaper is very full and we have been lucky that she isn't susceptible to diaper rashes.

How often do you change your kids diaper?
I should add that when DD was a newborn, I would change her much more frequently because she hated sitting in a wet diaper, so pretty much every time she peed, i changed her. then as she got older, she would care less and less

Pretty much everyone said that they change their kid as soon as they poop so no child is sitting in hard or mushy poop :)
I was just questioning because my son basically never fusses about a diaper unless it's super full. He doesn't get rashes, so I was not wanting my mom to be going through a case of diapers every other day.
