Coming in contact with someone who had Coxsackie virus.
My family was around a little boy on Sunday at a BBQ who has Coxsackie. No one knew he had it. But the mom of this boy got a call from daycare on Monday stating to come pick him up that he had it. My mom of this kid, called my friend, who called me to tell me.
So my question is, how long would it take for me to know if my children will get it? Would I know by now? Are we safe now?

I've had the same situation happen to me. DS had it over a weekend, but I didn't know till the Monday when he got sick and had to pick him up at daycare. I called a friend we had a play date with over the weekend to let her know. Thank goodness they never got it.
I say to keep an eye on it for another couple of days. Unfortunately it can start with sores in the mouth you can't see yet and takes a bit to start showing signs.
Hope no one gets sick.

I think it's a couple of days.
DS had it Labor Day weekend a few years back. On Sat, he was cranky and had his hands in his mouth but, we thought it was teething. We went to a pool party that day.
The next day he had the blisters on his feet. To my knowledge, nobody he came in contact with got it.
