Enfamil AR - - too thick for nipple?

Has anyone used this formula in the powder? Ped. recommended it for the twins' spit-up and it's definitely helping in that regard. I've been using the RTF but bought a tub of the powder to try the other day. I am finding that the powder version is so thick, it's taking the twins so long to drink it---perhaps it's too thick to go through the nipple????? They are only 5 weeks old, so I don't want to get the Y-cut nipple, that would be way too fast I'm sure. Anyone else have this problem?

I used the enfamil ar formula for two out of three of my kids and yes its thick but what I found is if you mix it with a formula pitcher instead of making one bottle when needed it solves the problem ....most likely its not getting mixed enough and there are tiny little clumps that you might not see that are blocking the nipple hole

I'd try going up to the next size nipple. I agree that Y-cut will be too fast, but try the next level. That should help.

I used it with my oldest and never had a problem with the stage one nipples. I didn't find it that thick and I used powder.

I had to whip it up in.my magic bullet. It smoothed out the lumps
