new here!
hi ladies,
i took a test last night (4 actually) and i'm pregnant with my first. according to a few apps, i'm about 4 weeks.
my question is now what?!

cONGRATULATIONS! First off, call your doctor, schedule your first visit, they likely won't bring you in until you are 8 weeks (they like to have 2 missed periods approximately before they will bring you in for a sono/bw). Good luck!

Congrats!! Make your first appointment, but most doctors won't see you till 8 weeks.. so try and stay sane the next 4 weeks while waiting to go in.

Congratulations!!! Call and make an appointment ASAP. I saw your other post regarding Dr. Bell and it is tough getting a first appointment with her since they're so long so call as soon as you can. Start taking a vitamin too.

Hope you can see Dr. Bell!! She's awesome!! I couldn't get my 1st appointment with her so I saw Dr. Duncan. She's good too. My next appointment is with the Midwife; then I see Dr. Bell. It just worked out with my schedule that way.

what does the first appointment entail?
Urine; weight check; then they bring you into the office and ask a bunch of questions about your health; family history. Then you go and the do an internal sonogram to measure the baby and hopefully hear a heartbeat!! then we went back into the office and went over the things not to eat; answer any questions i had. I also did the option blood test for any traits I might be carrying but that was at the very end. It was about 30-40 minutes in total. My appointment was at 7; we didn't leave until almost 8! And I schedule my next 2 appointments while I"m there. Ask for vitamin samples too!

i was able to get an appointment with dr. bell in june
