Newborn Photos
Hi ladies,
Can any one recommend a photographer for a newborn shoot that charges under $300? I would only need the digital images/ cd. Hope its not impossible! These prices are just so crazy.

I wanted DH to do them because he really is an incredible photographer, but he wants to have professional photos done.

unfortunately the fact that you want the digitals is the reason it would be more $$. You might be able to get someone JSO or a few years in for that but likely you'd have to buy prints.
Digitals, they're giving away their rights to making prints so they have to include the loss of income from those prints and the digitals *should* be more $$

I'm not sure where you're located, but try All Seasons Photography. She's a mom from here, and a vendor on here too. I did a newborn shoot with her, as well as my Christmas pics for the past few years and always get the images on a CD.

I personally think its a lot, but Im sure others would say its fine. I paid $500 for DS1 for mini-maternity and newborn combined, with 2 cds. Now my 2 different photographers are charging $1000+ so Im looking elsewhere.

I think you also have to consider there is going to be a variety of answers here since everyones financial situation is different. I personally wouldn't spend that much because I know that there are some really great photographers at a much lower price point. However are you getting the digital files? That may change my answer a bit.

I booked with all seasons photography. Her prices her very fair, she comes to you, and you get the images on a digital cd.
