Am I doing enough with my infant??
Do you feel like your not doing enough with your newborns? Megan is one month old today and I feel so bad sometimes. I hold her and talk to her..do tummy time, go on the playmat, sometimes even read to her but when I put her in her bouncy seat or bassinet when shes awake, I feel so guilty. I feel like I am neglecting her but I dont know what else to do with her at this age.
What do you guys do with your infants? Does anyone else feel the same?

no advice, but I LOVE her. She is so pretty. I would just stare at her all day long.

I feel the same way sometimes. I know that I need to engage her while she's awake so she stays awake for a little while & sleeps better.
I do the same things- also take her for walks, although she always falls asleep!

i feel the same. i talk to her, read to her and sing to her but feel like it's not enough. My little girl is only 2 1/2 weeks old so i don't know what else i could be doing.

Don't worry. I felt the same way and did the same things you are doing. DD is now 3 1/2 months and is now able to do more and is awake more often. Don't feel guilty for letting her play by herself either. I think its good for DD to learn to entertain herself when I'm not able to. It gets more fun!
