What do you do about clothing?
I'm only 6 weeks along, but obviously not showing. I'm in desperate need for spring/summer clothing, but I refuse to buy anything because I'm sure to show by the summer (especially because this is my 2nd pregnancy). What do you do for the time being?
I have a ton of maternity clothes however they are all winter!!!! I was pregnant during the winter months last time so I literally have nothing for summer. What do I do in the meantime? I also don't want to buy maternity for the summer because summer is so short anyway and this is my last pregnancy and it seems like a waste. Plus I'll be relatively early in pregnancy for the summertime.
Help!!!!!!!

Re: What do you do about clothing?
I'm 7+ months pregnant now and just got 2 non-maternity dresses (Maxi dress and shorter one) and they fit awesome. So you can probably do something very similar.
With short/skirt season, you can also get a belly band (I bought mine at Target) and use that with your current clothes in the mean time. When we went on vacation I was about 8 weeks pregnant and needed to wear shorts, the belly band was perfect.
Congrats!

Right now (11+w), I'm wearing maxi skirts/dresses because that is all I can wear. I'm going to go shopping this weekend I think for some clothes.

i found it easier to wear dresses. and skirts that had some elasticity to them (i had an August baby- so I was huge all summer lol)

I was early in my pregnancy last summer. I wore lots of sundresses- I had several empire style sundresses that were very comfortable.

agree on the dresses route. Tho I wasn't preg during summer, but needed some regular roomier stuff in the first couple of weeks, so I bought loose fit dresses at Gap. Was a life savior, was able to wear them well up to 30w and in the beginning no one noticed I was hiding a small bump

Re: What do you do about clothing?
I agree with the pp's I would wear comfortable dresses and skirts for as long as possible. I was not anxious to get into maternity clothes so I just bought a size bigger in some things that I knew I could wear after the baby is born.

I'm now 8 months and doing a lot of dresses-all of my cotton maxi/knee length dresses still fit me fine

Last time, I bought a belly extender thing for my work pants, and it was a lifesaver. Flowy tops, and I didn't have to get a new wardrobe! I still use them for work. At home? Leggings and tunic tops
