Where did you search for products, and needed items? I am at a loss for the major things like carriage, car seat, bassinet, etc, etc. HELP!!

This. I read the book, researched, then registered online. I then went to the store to check on what I put. I was pleasantly surprised I did ok lol. I did make some slight changes in store.

Made an initial list for the big items based on Baby Bargains Book - then we went to store, registered round 1. Then went back round 2, and then after all was added in did a little more research and finalized registry. Made it nice and painless.

I mostly relied on reviews on the BRU website, Amazon or walmart.com. Really any site where there are lots of ratings and reviews and you can sort by top rated was very helpful. Personally, I found the baby bargains book kind of a waste.
