Seems I got approved for a breast pump from Edgepark. I have a question from anyone who received one already.
They called today and left a message that my breast pump was being shipped abd I needed to fill out paperwork. Does this mean it was completely approved from insurance and I don't owe anything? What paperwork do I fill our? I gave her all my insurance info when I called and she said I had a choice between two pumps, which I picked one. Just afraid to get it and then they bill me for it.
I tried to get one with my second two years ago and I didn't get approved. This was with the same insurance. I figured I would try again since I saw a lot of girls on here with my same insurance getting approved. I figured maybe it changed over the last two years.

Obamacare made them covered. The only paperwork I had to fill out was to verify that I got the pump so that they could get reimbursed by my insurance company.

I didn't have to do anything but I ordered through another company.

I'd call your insurance company just in case. You mentioned that you have the same insurance as you did a couple of years ago so your plan may be grandfathered and if so, then they do not have to cover your pump.

They told me my pump was covered; but then I got a letter saying my insurance only covered a portion of it. The pump I got was the higher end model not the one covered!

Crap I hope that doesn't happen. So far it seems it's covered. They only have me two pumps to choose from. I got the Medela which I know is more expensive then the other one they offered. I have to send back all the paper work. Got pump in mail today

Re: Seems I got approved for a breast pump from Edgepark. I have a question from anyone who received one already.
Before I ordered from Edgepark I made sure to call my ins co to see if it was covered and they told me it was 100%. I then ordered the pump and someone called me to tell me I had to pay 20%. I told them my ins covers it 100%. A few days later the pump was delivered and I owed nothing. There was a form in the box I had to sign verifying I received the pump.
