City Select double or City Mini double
Trying to decide between the two. It would mostly be used for walks and trips to the zoo, parks, etc. DD will be 3 when #2 arrives. Any thoughts?

Re: City Select double or City Mini double
i would try them out. i cannot imagine pushing the city select around with 2; the city mini double imo was easier. even though its wide, it fits through doorways. yes it may be hard to get through some store aisles, but i have the city mini single and already have trouble in certain stores so its no surprise there.
i like that the city select double has all of those seating options, but I found it harder to close and i did not like the fact that in order to fold it you had to remove the second seat.

Re: City Select double or City Mini double
We bought the City Select double for a few reasons. I have an UppaBaby Cruz right now. It has a HUGE, easily accessible basket. There was no way I could go from that to the City Mini's tiny, not at all accessible basket. I hated it. We barely got DD's diaper bag in it when we were in the store, forget about how much we're used to cramming in. I really don't like the way the car seat adapter attaches to the City Mini. I love that I can use the City Select as a single or a double at any time. The only thing I really liked about the City Mini double was the quick fold.
I just got the City Select double on sale for $529 (tax and shipping included), so that was exciting!

Re: City Select double or City Mini double
I just borrowed the City Mini Elite Double stroller from a friend and really love it.
DD is 4 months old and fits pretty good in the seat right now. I just recline it back a bit and strap her in nice and tight.
DS loves it because its easy for him to climb into and out of on his own - he's 3.5.
It is a nice and smooth ride but a bit heavy when walking up an incline and storing into an SUV.
The only thing I don't like is the size of the basket. What a pain trying to get my diaper bag into and out of it.
I have an Uppababy and no other basket compares to the size of the Uppababy.
