Who swears by acupuncture???
I'm desperately trying to give dd a sibling!!have been really trying (opk etc) since September, but I'm getting soo frustrated already! How many of you that tried acupuncture think you're preggo bc of it???
We don't have much expendable income, but if it doesn't happen soon I'm thinking of trying it. Just want some success stories to convince dh!!

Me, I had 2 very early mc's last year then nothing... started Acu in November, I'm now 9w4d (yes still very early)... plus, my MS has been VERY minor compared to what I expected (considering my mom was puking from morning to night).

I went to acupuncture while undergoing IVF. I loved it, so relaxing. My main issue was my uterine lining - in the past it never measured more than 6, during Acu it was a 9! I truly believe it is what helped. I was going 2x a week and each session was $60. I don't know if u need recomendations but I saw Andy Kaplan in Rockville Centre, he is great!

I received acupuncture treatments to help fertility for several years and it never helped me personally. It was a waste of money for me anyway.

Wow, I've NEVER heard this before! I'm so sorry you didn't feel any benefit. I saw an immediate change in my cycle, my LP went from 10/11 days to 14 full days within the first month.

I got pregnant 4 times without acu, but three ended in mc (one was chromosomally abnormal, the other two were chemicals). I have a mild case of PCOS and tend to have longer cycles. My second cycle on acu I ovulated earlier than I had in a year, and my progesterone levels (which had always been low) were higher than they had ever been with any of my prior pregnancies. I am now 16.5 weeks with a pregnancy conceived while doing acu 2x a week. I dont know that it helped me get pregnant but I do think it helped regulate things and I wouldnt be surprised if it helped contribute to this pregnancy sticking.
Edit: I was also a complete anxious wreck after three losses and I can say acu really helped my anxiety levels significantly.
Editx2: my old insurance didnt cover acu but my new insurance covers it!

I got pregnant with #2 after trying for 2 years...only because of acupuncture. I swear by my guy. He is amazing and would recommend him to anyone. I had a luteal phase defect and he actually moved my ovulation up and i got pregnant!

I do! I had acupuncture & chiropractic to help me get pregnant. I loved it... Very relaxing.

To be fair, I have had acupuncture for several other issues here and there over the years and I find that it works great for some things and not others. Everyone is different. It helped you and that's wonderful!
