npr: silly christening question
So this may be an odd question... im attending a girls christening in may with my almost 2 year old daughter... were going to the party after the church, not the church...
Can my daughter wear a white dress? Its a nice eyelet dress. Is there any etiquette that she shouldnt?
Should i just ask the mom in case she feels some way about it? Shes a good friend...

I think its fine, but there are some people who get weird about these types of things..why dont you put a colored cardigan over it. I wouldnt call and ask..if they get annoyed over it, then they r petty
