Anyone use Puddle jumpers?
Did anyone use puddle jumpers? If so, how old were your LO's?
Where did you get them?
Trying to get my girls something for our summer pool vacation. They are 19 months now... SUPER active! I can't see them sitting in a raft for longer than 5 seconds.

Re: Anyone use Puddle jumpers?
We used it last summer and will again this summer. DS was just about 2 when we started to use it. He was only about 27 lbs and it was a little big on him.
Edited to add- I got mine at Target.

Re: Anyone use Puddle jumpers?
we used them last summer and will again this summer. The girls were 22 months when we tried it, but were 20 lbs. (They are both physically delayed) and in 5 days, an hour a day, they were swimming independently with the puddle jumpers. I bought them at bjs, but have seen them everywhere, from the super market, cvs, target etc.

My daughter has one. I had gotten it for her when she was 2ish. It was a bit big on her. I think the weight range is 30-50lbs and she was under 30. It worked but I still had to be right on top of her. I like it much better now that she fills it out better, she's almost 5.
I wound up getting my son a life vest at that age instead. I was more comfortable with the fit. Either way make sure whatever you get is coast guard approved. The puddle jumper is...some pools and beaches won't let you use them if they aren't..just an fyi..have fun!!

Re: Anyone use Puddle jumpers?
we have one and used it a ton with DS last summer. he was a little over 2.5. it definitely gave him confidence in the water and made it so we didn't have to constantly hold him, etc. hes been taking swim lessons since January, so I think for this summer I might get him something more like a life jacket type thing that gives him a little bit more movement for his arms and stuff since he wants to use "big arms", like his swim teacher tells him :-/

Re: Anyone use Puddle jumpers?
My son has them. He just fit into them last summer at 3.5 y/o. He weighed about 29 pounds. Before then he would flip forward in it. Not enough weight.. I used a life jacket or a swim tube with a bathing suit built in to it..

I used them for both of my kids and loved them. DD still uses her set. I got them at Costco.

Re: Anyone use Puddle jumpers?
I feel like they have to be 30lbs to use it. Am I wrong? I remember one year DD being too small for it. If they don't weigh enough they flip forward in the water. Definitely not for 1 year olds unless they are very big.
