Free dining in Disney

We are thinking about going to Disney at the end of Sept. I hear there could be free dining available at that time of year. How do you know which hotels you can do free dining which and which you can't? We were thinking AoA but I've heard you can't do the free dining with that hotel.

Well they do black out some room categories and hotels not sure if all of AOA is blacked out or not.

I know last time the values get CS plan and moderates and deluxes get the regular dining. Not sure if AoA was included or what plan since it technically is a value.
