Baby Carrier
I'm debating adding this to the registry. Baby is due in August. We don't have many functions we go to that I can think of that we wouldn't be able to bring a stroller.
Did you register for a carrier? If so which one?
How often do you use the carrier...and for what type of events/outings?
Which did you register for and why?

Re: Baby Carrier
Either the Ergo or Boba- I have both & love them. Sometimes I put the baby in the carrier when I'm home just to free up my hands so I can get some things done!

We have both the bjorn active and ergo. Love them both. The bjorn when dd was really little. Sometimes I would just wear her around the house if she was fussy.
Now I love the ergo. It's a good registry item.

I love the Ergo. I have the Bjorn too but it puts to much pressure on my back so I never use it.
I use it for grocery / Target shopping (more room in the cart when the car seat isn't in it), at church, for outings. When we are somewhere and she starts being fussy, she calms down in the carrier and lulls off to sleep. I used it for trick or treating, I made her look like a popcorn bucket. I prefer it to the stroller because I like the closeness. I have two older children so this keeps my hands free for them and keeps baby happy and provides a nap when she needs it but can't be in the crib.

I love the carrier when I was out shopping! It was so much easier to do food shopping with baby in the carrier. I have the moby and beco- love structured carriers more (like the beco). I just the ergo for #2 which I have heard great things about.

I used the Ergo a ton with DS- it was great at the beach or even just around the house. We used it pumpkin picking, Christmas tree cutting, at parties. Lots of places where strollers just aren't convenient

LOVE the Maya wrap!!! My lactation consultant recommended it, and I wore DS in it all the time- around the house, on walks, to Disney, etc. Didn't hurt my back and I liked it bc it was like he was snuggled and didn't out any pressure on his hips like the bjorn and some others do when they have holes for their legs to go through. We also have a bjorn, but my husband wore him in that one when he got a little bigger.

Love my Ergo. I wear DD around the house sometimes, and it was great when I had to take her food shopping.

When DD1 was an infant the Moby saved my life! I wore her around the house all the time. It was the only way that I got anything done.
This time around I also got an Ergo.

Re: Baby Carrier
I got the Baby K'Tan Breeze wrap. I like it because you can wear the baby in several positions and it protects the baby's hips, unlike some of the other carriers.
